The R32

Just a bit of a summary of my r32 build from the day i got it to were it sits right at this very minute.

So i popped my my ca18det s12 after only 4 practice days out at mallala and after plans of a rebuild, putting an SR and RB in it i came across this r32 shell for sale. so i snapped it up and bought it home, well to my mates workshop and then home after about a month.

This is how she looked at day 1.

was not a fan of the British racing green.

The guards were then rolled

And then the cans of paint came out one night

As fun as it was painting absurd crap all over it, cleaning it back off for real paint was a massive pain.

Next was sanding

Then primer

And then finally the black

The engine was dropped in

And some suspension goods bolted up

… Note the s13 mac strut setup not r32 milti-link setup.

And that is pretty much were it stands at the moment, its most definitely not a fast process building a car on a low wage, but its coming along.

These were taken today.

Finally got around to putting it up on stands

Step into my office

That is all for now, will keep updating as work is done. Hoping to have it ready for the 2011 season of drift.
